Edinburgh Members Manifesto Consultation
What to Expect
The Meeting will Co-Chaired by Cammy Day on behalf the Labour Group and Martin Young on behalf of the LGC
Following our highly successful manifesto members' consultation in 2021, the Edinburgh LGC and Edinburgh Labour Group have decided to once again hold an open members' forum. This event will gather thoughts and ideas on what should be presented to the people of Edinburgh in our manifesto for the 2027 council elections. This is your chance as a party member to have real input into Labour's message and directly impact how the city is run for the next five years.
Group Panels
We will host seven separate group discussions, each chaired by the relevant convener.
Members input
Members will have the opportunity to attend up to three different sessions to share their thoughts and ideas.
Outcome
Members' ideas will be further refined by the Labour Group and LGC to establish the basis for the 2027 manifesto.
Social
There will be tea and coffee breaks with the ability for members from across Edinburgh to meet and socialise.
Schedule
Members will have three separate sessions to participate in with one of the 7 convenor lead committees covering each area of Edinburgh Council Policy. Light refreshments will be provided between each session.
